Dreamy Velvet Bracelet Free Beaded Jewelry Making Pattern
Materials
1 - 10 inch strand of Silver Buddy Braids Beading Wire
1 ½ inches of Silver-Plated 5x3.5mm Cable Chain
1 - Silver-Plated 12x6mm Lobster Clasp
1 - Silver-Plated 19 Gauge 5mm Jump Ring
2 - Silver-Plated 2mm Crimp Tubes
1 - Silver-Plated 2" Headpin
20 - Silver-Plated 3x2mm Rondelles
13 - Amazonite 12x8mm Semiprecious Rondelles
7 – Deep Tanzanite 6mm Crystal Bicones

Step One - Prepare Extension Chain:

1.  Create crystal drop for the end of chain by adding the 6mm Deep Tanzanite Bicone to the headpin.  Using a pair of round nose pliers create a 90° bend in the headpin above the crystal.  Holding the headpin where you created the bend wrap the headpin around the pliers to create a loop.  Then wrap the headpin around itself below the loop as many times as you can.  Trim the excess headpin you could not wrap around.  Your drop will look like the picture below.

2.  Twist open one of the 5mm jump rings.  Add the loop of the crystal drop you just created and the last loop of one end of the cable chain.  Twist the jump ring closed.  Your chain will look like the picture below.

3.  Set the extension chain aside.

Step Two - Create Bracelet:

1. Start the bracelet by taking a crimp bead and string it onto one end of the Buddy Braids about a ½”from the end.

2. Take the Lobster clasp and string it onto the same end of the Buddy Braids the crimp bead is on.

3. Take your Buddy Braids and string it back through the crimp bead.  See Illustration 1.

4. Take a pair of pliers and squeeze the crimp bead until you cannot pull the Buddy Braids back through.  Do not trim the excess; simply string the beads on the Buddy Braids and the ½” extra Buddy Braids you have.

Take your Buddy Braids and string back through the crimp bead.  String the Buddy Braids through several of the last beads you strung.  Pull the Buddy Braids tight making the jump ring close to the crimp bead.  See illustration 2.  While holding the Buddy Braids use your pliers and squeeze the crimp bead so the Buddy Braids will not pull out.  Trim the extra Buddy Braids.

8.  Squeeze the crimp tube closed.

9.  Trim the excess Buddy Braids as close to the Amazonite Rondelle as you can.

You are done!!  This pattern makes a bracelet that is 7 inches to 8 ½ inches long.  To close the bracelet simply hook your clasp to any loop on the chain.
